Re: Controller Error (Event ID: 11) upon USB flash insertion

It seems to be a problem with the USB flash drive itself (8 GB OCZ Diesel), and is somewhat random. When I insert the drive, I sometimes see the error and sometimes don't (I always use Safe Eject of the hardware to make sure I am not introducing a problem). I tried another USB drive (4 GB OCZ Diesel), and see the same errors. But when I tried a 4 GB Corsair Flash Voyager GT, I have not seen any problems yet.

Also, the write speed on the Corsair is about twice as fast as on the OCZ drives, even though their specs are about the same as I recall. So I think the OCZ controller does not get along well with Windows 7 64-bit, and I will ditch them for something else. Thanks for the input.
